ALL INDIA HARTAL: A STRONG WARNING TO THE UPA GOVT.

Massive and unprecedented response expressed by the people all over the country in favour of the All India Hartal being called by the left parties today against the unjustifiable hike of petrol products became a strong warning to the Congress (I) led UPA government.
The workers and the common people voluntarily came forward and registered their protest against the price rise and univocally asked the government to withdraw the administered price hike and the decision to decontrol the prices of petroleum products.
The reports from various states shows that the suffering people considered this Hartal as an opportunity to record their anguish over the government and its callous attitude to check the spiralling price rise of not only the petrol products but also all the essential commodities.
The All India Forward Bloc urges upon the government to recognise the general feeling of the public against the price rise and to withdraw the increased prices of petroleum products.
